7. So far 90% say the Democratic subpoenas are necessary
President Bush and Democrats in Congress seemed destined for a showdown over the firing of those eight U.S. attorneys.
So who's right ? * 623 responses

President Bush. He's right when he calls this a "partisan fishing expedition" since there's no indication anyone did anything wrong.
10%

The Democrats. They're demanding "true accountability" which they say is only possible when testimony is on the record and under oath.
90%

Even though they put the Democratic vote at the bottom it still is clear who is right and who is wrong.

15. I hope our congresspeople see this:
It may not be scientific, but it should tell them that now is NOT the time to wuss out and be "bipartisan".

I mean, these days, it never is, but now is especially not.

18. Poll they SHOULD put up
Truth: Good or bad?

If the facts ("objective reality") support the Democrats, then THEY'RE right. If the facts support Bush, then HE'S right. It seems like we're living in a bizarrely "relativistic" age where opinions and personal beliefs shape reality not the other way around. "Reality" to the Bushies is nothing more than what they want it to be or think it should be. And to think that the GOP, or at least the Religious Right, used to decry the supposed "moral relativism" of Liberals/Democrats. For awhile, I felt like I was going crazy because the way that the MSM normally reports on things (that is to say trying to be "fair and balanced") everything certain suddenly seemed far less certain. Thankfully, I'm not actually going crazy. It's just the MSM. :eyes:
