The Dems Need To Take The Initiative With The Negotiations..... |
|
here's the deal:
If the WH staffers won't come voluntarily to give testimony - in public and under oath - then subpoena's will be issued.
Turn it around on them.
Right now they are saying they made a generous offer - they struck first.
The generous offer should be - they testify under oath or we issue subpoena's - that is our generous offer.

The Dems are the ones putting their necks out on this. Because if Rove and Miers are innocent of any wrongdoing, and it comes out in open testimony (remember that the publican members of the committee will be able to ask questions)that this is merely a Democratic witch hunt, what better fodder for Rove in the 2008 election?
