1. It was only a matter of time
"Politico" has been the flavor of the month as far as the cabal news is concerned.

9. Yes, the "conservative voice" came on loud and clear
from what I saw. Same thing with that "hotsoup" that's supposed to be non-political/independant.

Thing is, just because you claim "Independent" and/or "non-political" does not mean it is middle of the road. The proof's in the pudding, and so far it's only one side.

11. Yep. That's why I pay them NO heed. I don't trust NEW so-called "independent"...
...news outlets.

My criteria for allowing myself to pay initial but the most minimum attention to "new" news outlets, is when they report news from a different viewpoint than CNN, and MSNBC (except for Olbermann), or when they report something NOT in the negative about Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and the other Democrats.

Politico.com's never made it with me.

5. I'm happy to hear that politico has egg on its face
Maybe those guys were wrong about some other things when they covered campaigns. Like things about Gore or Kerry? Or Bush? Didn't Mike Allen cover the Bush campaign?

10. Who's financing them? They came out of the blue awfully fast...
Alot of expensive advertising, making alliances with other news organizations...

I'd be curious where the money is coming from...
