Elizabeth Kucinich statement to the news of Elizabeth Edward's recurring cancer
Dennis and I wish Elizabeth and John Edwards and their family the very best as Mrs. Edwards continues her courageous battle with cancer.

She has shown true strength and dignity in addressing this disease. We admire her courage and her spirit.

We are confident that Mrs. Edwards will continue to play a vigorous role in this campaign.

I look forward to seeing her on the campaign trail as she and I and our husbands all work towards our visions for building a better America.

1. Isn't it strange for the candidate not to issue something like this?
I realize (from his website especially) that his wife has a prominent role in the campaign and certainly the sentiment is to be applauded but I found it a little strange that this was issued under her name.

2. My thought is because they are both candidates wives.
Or it is the woman factor.
Either way, it was very nice.:hi:

5. Things get pretty ugly in a campaign
It's nice to see the candidates recognize that this goes beyond idealogical beliefs.

Cancer sucks.
