Does Anybody Have Any Quotes By Pat Buchanan During The Clinton....
era regarding 'executive privilege' and having Clinton's confidant's testify on Capitol Hill?

I can't believe that Pat had the same feelings then as now. It would be good to stuff his words down his throat.

He claims Rove can't be called up to testify.

2. Pat is such a bitch.
I can't stand listening to his faux outrage as of late. It's obvious that HE's the hypocrite he keeps referring to.

was that Ken Starr even went after lawyer-client privilege on the basis that Clinton's lawyer was on the government payroll. If I recall correctly, they actually got precedent overturned. And the GOP was all behind him.

And now everyone's pretending like none of that ever happenned.

Congress' attack on the presidency
Posted: March 23, 2007

If the Senate and House judiciary committees issue subpoenas for Karl Rove and other White House aides to testify to their roles in the firing of the eight U.S. attorneys, President Bush should defy the subpoenas. He should accept the contempt citations and fight it all the way to the Supreme Court.

Indeed, he has a duty to do so. For Bush is today the custodian of an office that is the subject of assault by a partisan and hostile Congress.
