forgive me if I wait for verification from a little bit more credible source.

4. This may only be a fish story, but if the MSM starts reporting it as fact |
how many Americans will buy it hook, line and sinker?

3. As per the Downing Street Memo: |
Before the war Bush & Blair put pilots in harm's way hoping that Saddam would shoot them down to provide a casus belli.
It wouldn't surprise me if this was a similar set-up, designed to bait Iran this time.

5. if this has happened before |
why would this be any different? Should be resolved w/out any major conflict.
"Iran briefly seized three British naval patrol boats in the area in June 2004"
from the same article.

6. The phone line between Washington and Tehran must not |
have been clear. If George and Mahmoud both want a confrontation for political reasons, they should have gone after an American ship and sailors, not British.

7. yup, sure to be THE story of the day, the corporate media will be orgasmic |
and be more than happy to get to report on something OTHER than the real news, the growing white house scandals. AND it just HAPPENS to occur on the same day as the un is about to vote on iran sanctions? pretty fucking convenient if you ask me. i wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this story fizzles later in the day.
