You know I love you! I was your constituent and then your pal Lynne Woolsey's constituent. I voted for you. I donated a bit. I support you and respect you. This is NOT a hit piece or an "If you don't do something I'm voting Republicant" piece.

It's just a question.

But folks here at Daily Kos told me to shut up. And you said it was "off the table." Folks here said NO! The way to go is to get The Dems in office and show people that The Dems are fireball go-getters who will sweep in a new era! They will pass a slew of bills and legislation and SHOW the American People that WE are the grown-ups, the effective ones.

They said that we will cut a swath of action that cannot be ignored, that we will FORCE Bush to veto bills and publicize it to High Heaven so all of America will know that WE are the competent ones who get stuff done. By doing that, they said and still (God knows why) say, we will insure a Dem President and Dem Congress in 08. Happy Days! HaHa, they laughed! Just having a Dem majority will show that George Bush! He won't DARE fuck with us now! THIS will stop his Madness and Despotism and twisted plans. He CERTAINLY won't take us to War in Iran, hahahaha, not with a Dem Majority holding him accountable. Now that the Dems are in....Happy Days are here again!

Don't rock the boat, they said.

Don't pressure Congress, give them a chance.

Don't call for Impeachment.

Evidently using our Only Other Power besides Impeachment.... our Power of the Purse, Defunding.... is now "Off The Table" too.

That is the barest damn Table I have ever seen! The Republicants have Nuking Iran on their table...what is on ours?

How do we stop them? How do we make progress? How do we get legislation passed....ANY legislation?

Wtf is our PLAN???

"Some People" have intimated and alleged that perhaps the plan is......not much. That you and Harry don't really expect or ...even want...to do much at all. "They" think that you think that just by coasting through a couple of more years of allowing Bush to destroy the country and the world, a couple of more years of death, destruction and bankrupting the government, a couple of more years of torture and domestic spying and brutal war, you expect the voters will turn out in 08 and fall at the Dems feet and elect them overwhelmingly. Then of course....Happy Days are here again. Some cynical folks even suggest that the Dems are just as much in the pocket of the special interests of the Military Industrial Complex as Goopers. That the Dems don't really want to stop the War(s). Or that you are stupid or incompetent and will run around like chickens with your heads cut off going from plan to plan while Rove and the Mighty Wurlitzer tear any alliances to shreds.

It is not like the Republicants have ever used Divide and Conquer on us before, to keep us in disarray and ineffective.

I don't say that, I want to believe, I will clap louder and Yell into the wind and practice clicking my heels together. Just tell me wtf to DO. Just tell me WTF the PLAN is...or is it a secret?

I want to support you, I want to support Harry, I TOO want Happy Days to be here again.

But mainly....I want our soldiers to stop dying, I want...after four years of war....an actual CHANGE in Iraq. I want the Taliban defeated in Afghanistan. I want war with Iran "OFF THE TABLE." I want Torture to stop now. I want our frikkin Troops and our frikkin Vets to get what they need. I want the Constitution to be Restored, I want Gitmo closed, the MCA abolished, The Patriot Act abolished or severely rolled back. I want my President to stop opening my mail, listening to my calls and reading my e-mail. I want Diplomacy back and Reason back. But mainly Nancy...I want our soldiers to stop dying.....for No. Freaking. Reason.

Not starting WW3 by Nuking Iran would be nice too.

The 110th Congress was seated in early January...it's now early March. I have been patient...America has been patient. What's the PLAN?

Everyday on Cable News, now, I see stories asking if the voters are blaming the Dems. If they aren't yet...they soon will be. If we don't have a PLAN. The biggest danger we face is the Republicants being able to shift responsibility off of Bush and onto the Dem Congress. Blaming us for the war, for NOT STOPPING THE WAR. That will NOT lead to electoral victory in 08, that will NOT lead to Happy Days.

So I want to support you, I don't want to get frustrated and mad and start writing nasty things about you or threatening you....I WANT TO HELP! I DON'T want to believe that you don't have a plan, that you are flying by the seat of your pants. I want to be sure that you are not still just playing defense, just reacting to every thrust and feint that Bushco throws out. I want to support you and get behind you and your PLAN and have the Dems be effective and pass legislation and show America and the world that the Dems really ARE the adults, are the good guys. I want to help and support and work with you to accomplish all of the things listed above and more. I really, really do.

But with impeachment off the table....and defunding off the table....and Bush's Veto and Signing Statement Powers....

I only have one question.

What. The. Fuck. is the PLAN???
