The Politics of Pragmatism.
Edited on Sat Mar-24-07 07:32 PM by pinto
Change is incremental.

In almost all areas of human behavior, moving from point A to point Z involves many intermediary steps. We are a life of fits and starts, trial and error, feints precursing great achievement.

Our common history is full of end points, yet we often overlook the trails and trials that led to them. The missteps, the side tracks, the wins and losses, the compromises and that sudden decisive action which history ultimately records.

Politics is no different.

Change is incremental, and it shadows history in the the long view.

The TV ad that touted "Keep your eyes on your fries" inadvertently spoke volumes.

Hang in there Democrats. I think it is our time, again.

Thanks all, pinto
