Bush in 2000 was inexperienced, inadequate, rather unintelligent, and willfully ignorant. Six years later, that is still true.

The others only had the 'inexperienced' part, and they learned quickly during their service.

Public service is an understanding of one's obligation to others. Democrats -- including John Edwards and Barack Obama -- learned this early and have never looked back.

I'd be absolutely delighted if either one became our president.
