At The Risk Of Sounding Like Katie Couric To Elizabeth - Is Anybody Suspicious Like Me About The ...
timing of Tony Snow's exit to have some work done on him?

See - I warned you that this was going to be a crass post.

It just seems very convenient to exit stage right by Snow on the heels of the Edwards revelation.

Who'd say anything negative under the cover of the Edwards problem - and after Tony's speaking of nice words for Elizabeth.

Could it be if Tony were asked some tough questions re: Gonzo foibles and WH connections - that he couldn't avoid lying even more than he regularly does - so they need to parade a new fill-in PS till this controversy dies down. One who really doesn't know what is going on - so this person could lie without consequence?

Just a thought. I woke up from a deep sleep with this thought.

Now back to bed for me.

2. Sure it's crass
but mostly it's either stupid or ignorant. Tony Snow is already a colon cancer survivor. I hope for his sake that the mass they found is benign, not a recurrence.

3. is it crass? - yeah but
given the shit hitting the fan with all the loyal bushie scandals, it wouldn't surprise me in the least

although I doubt this type of medical procedure was "planned", given the time it takes to do an examination/testing, and then schedualing - it's most likely just a coincidence of timing. Given his history of cancer, it's not something you want to fool around with and use for political timing.

What would make is suspicious is if it was staged as a sudden emergency, something along the lines of Cheney receiving a subpoena and being rushed to the hospital just after receiving it or hearing that one was on the way.

4. no, that bastard is a huge bush suckup
he would probably pay THEM to do that job - no way would he go along with something that took him away from his beloved bush whoring

5. I'm not suspicious, I don't think one will go under the knife
...for political gain.

It's possible, but I kind of doubt it in a cancer survivor like Tony Snow. I certainly hope there is no recurrance and that he has a quick recovery.

6. It's sad, but I put NOTHING past the BFEE, and you shouldn't either.
Evil is it's most insane and dangerous when it's backed into a corner.
Be advised. ;)

9. I hear you
but the compassion and decency in me simply has to give even this piece of bush whoring shit the benefit of the doubt; I just refuse to allow these bastards to shred my humanity

7. Do we REALLY think George H. Bush collapsed and needed CPR while having lunch...
or was he just caught making-out with another guy, and the whole "fainting" and CPR thing was just their cover story?

8. It says a lot about the administration
that anyone would even think this. However, I don't think even they are that stupid.

He's had it before; bad timing. Besides, who really CARES about him? He's a spokesman, and hardly "beloved" by any group that I am aware of.
