3. One or two ads and Obama would join HClinton in trouncing Rudy in NY.

I honestly don't think much of Rudy's chances in his home state at all. I think he'd be trounced by any Democrat.

Rudy also loses California. He loses Ohio. He loses Michigan.

I'm not seeing him winning any state Kerry/Edwards carried in 04 and I think he loses some that Bush carried, especially the ones by narrow margins. Iowa. New Mexico.

Rudy's as approved of in these polls as he's ever going to be, so I hope he's enjoying it. It's downhill for the boy from here on.

If Hillary Clinton can beat him in NY that's good but to be honest, I'm not really concerned about NY. I think Obama would win NY, too.
I'm rather concerned about how Rudy would do in other crucial states like PA, Ohio or the swing states that Kerry barely won last time.

6. I think the bigger problem for the Pubs is Rudy in the south!

It doesn't surprise me that he would get beaten in NY. People there remember the Rudy before 9/11 and they know he would return to THAT Rudy as Prez. SSouthern Pubs are much more judgemental, and I doubt he stand a chance of winning in the south OR the midwest. Those folks will excuse ONE divorce, but NOT TWO, and all those ads showing him in drag will kill his possibilities for sure!

but it's so early that any poll right now is pretty worthless.Maybe a string of polls together that show a trend would be useful a bit,but a single poll by anyone right now just doesn't mean a thing.
