Any of the Dem candidates would make a good president.
I'm looking at the list and thinking that this is a great list of accomplished people. I am sure that I will choose and work for one of them but, I think I could vote for any of them. This may bode well for the final election. If I were a Republican, I would be really worried because they have a crappy candidate roster which is all over the board ideologically.

1. And whomever the democrats nominate and elect
He/she will surround themselves with people incredibly more honest and trustworthy and educated and intellectually curious then whomever the republican would.

2. You bet, Raven
A hell of a lot better than any of the republic candidates. It sickens me to hear/read the republic talking points spewed all over DU bymembers trying to help their candidate by trashing decent dems.( I just put a mental minus mark against their candidate ).

6. Biden is an interesting candidate.
Many on this site don't like him but when I hear him speak he speaks my language. Since I was a repub for many years I have lost faith in some of my opinions. Dodd also appeals to me. So, yes, I like all our candidates!

5. I agree! And we have others waiting in the wings that would be very
good nominees. Not that some of my special Dems will jump in, like, Clark and Feingold. But, we have some very qualified candidates. More than you can say for the repubs. Reminds me of 2000 when the repubs had to scape the bottom of the barrel to find bush as their "Man".

8. Amen, sister. It's gonna suck to be a Republican for a long time now.
and frankly, I've adopted the attitude of the Romans with regard to Carthage:
The Republican Party Must Be Destroyed.

10. Nah, it should be reformed
We need to have a healthy, viable and positive opposition party. The GOP is none of those things right now.

11. I agree totally, but they must be purged and cleansed...
Destroyed and rebuilt on a wholly constitutional foundation.

9. Agreed. I have not chosen a specific candidate yet, but regardless,
I will vote for the Democratic nominee when the time comes.
