World Leaders Host Intervention to Cure Ahmadinejad of Hostage Addiction.

Young Ahmadinejad experimenting with a gateway hostage.

Tehran, Iran- Resident Bush and his doubles pocket pool partner Tony Blair are mad as heck and they're not going to take it anymore. They are no longer going to lay around and let Iran sit there all 'unattacked' any longer. They are sending their boats and ships and gathered all of the sailors out on deck. At noon tomorrow they will collectively moon Iran. Widely considered the largest display of human asses in one single direction in humnan history. "It's called diplomacy dumbass, look it up." said Condileeza Rice, Secretary of...We'll Get Back To You On That.

So what happens now? Well, this reporter went into a random diner of full of longshoreman along the wharf of Seattle to find out what those closest to Home Land Security have to say. After telling them that, yes, Iran took more hostages, no, these aren't just left over from the 70's, no, they're not Americans, they're Brits...okay, beyond "Well then fuck 'em." how do they feel about the situation especially with the naval concentration; they finally gave me some opinions. The room was split 50/50 between "Nuke 'em" and "Leave the Brits to rot, bring all Americans home, and kill anything going in or out of that region until they've gotten done killin' each other." The later opinion was given by Hippie Reggie, largely considered the local bleeding-heart liberal.

This is the time. The UN had a chance to stop the Iraq War. The UN now has a chance to stop this from escalating by stepping in with some real diplomacy. What is real diplomacy? Gather the region and get commitments from Iran's trading partners and put the consequences on them. Kidnapping 15 members of the British Navy is unacceptable. Extending the war to Iran would destroy the US economy. This is the decade of the weakest leadership worldwide in human history, I swear to God!

1. I do believe that picture was debunked at the time Ahmadinejad was elected.

2. I regretfully have to agree with that
If the USA or Britain--or even Iran!-- had any kind of strong leadership, this incident would never have happened.

Ahmadi-Nejad would have never had to pull such a worthless stunt if he were able to inspire the nation of Iran to
follow his lead, Blair's and Bush's "concern" would carry some weight if they had the backing of their peoples and
their Parliament/Congress. Unfortunately, it's "none of the above," and so the weak look for spectacular and risky
gestures as a miserable substitute. Obviously, Iran can hold on to these 15 guys as long as they like with pretty
much total impunity, but they are only impressing their leadership. Their people couldn't care less, and a hostage
by any other name, as Shakespeare might have said............

So in a show of strength and self-righteousness that impresses nobody, 15 Brits get to be pawns in a chess game no
one cares is taking place. Iran looks foolish, and Blair and Bush will just look.

VERY weak leadership indeed!
