Are Republicans capable of honesty in government?
I became an adult as Nixon/Agnew took office. Having grown up, partially under Eisenhower, I naively thought that both parties governed wisely and honestly. Yet, the Watergate cover-up and revelations of dirty campaign tricks (illegal and brutal) began changing my mind and influencing my decision to side with Democrats. Then, came Reagan and Iran-gate, which sold weapons to Iran to fund arms for an illegal (for U.S. government and citizens) action to overthrow the Nicaraguan government. Now, George Bush, and an entire list of scandals, the worst of which was to fabricate lies leading to going to war, which is still taking the lives of American troops while making fortunes for war profiteering firms.

Since 1960, I have never seen a Republican administration able to govern honestly, effectively, or responsibly, nor have I seen one which does not outdo the former one in recording record deficits.

3. sure doesn't look like it
Nixon formerly resigned on my 16th birthday...so, no, I have never seen, nor can I imagine, an honest Republican administration.

If their lips are moving, they are lying. Next question?

4. How can they? They don't believe in government to begin with.
They are trash and subhumanity, AFAIC.

5. Not as far as I'm concerned.
They have guaranteed I won't vote for any of them, not even dog catcher, for as long as I breathe air.
