5. Here's a question that baffels me

Okay Tim Johnson, if he was in the Senate voting today, how do you feel he would of voted? I just say this cause he is a conservative Democrat let's not forget this. So would he go the way of the leadership or go the way of the Republicans, LIEberman and Pryor?

If a member of the Senate is incapacitated for a long time, like Johnson, a member of the other party will also abstain on important votes, so there's no way that somebody can say that "If Johnson had been there, we would've won!", which would increase pressure on ill senators to prematurely return, jeopardizing their health.
