Ya know what REALLY scares me ........ this:

http://www.regent.edu/acad/schlaw/

This is Pat Robertson's madrassa where they're growing the legal footsoldiers that are, according to Rachel Maddow, 150 strong in the Bush administration. They're engaged in many other activities, too. A heady alchemy of Federalist Society doctrine mixed with Jesus Camp fervor and stridency, they are the lieutenants in an all out frontal assault on our Democracy.

And its all legal and tidy.

12. Whenever I see those words....
"Ice Cream Social", I think of people who are trying to relive some sort of idyllic fantasy era in time: where everyone conformed, where everyone did as they were told and never, NEVER questioned authority. An era that never existed, except in the sick minds of anal retentive, mentally twisted weenies too afraid to LIVE life because they never wanted to make a mistake. never wanted to rock the boat, never wanted to appear different then everyone else. :banghead:

Ice Cream Social...... :puke: Hosted by the head weenie, John "The Eagle is Sore" Ashcroft. :puke: :puke:

I can't believe people like this still exist. :banghead:

8. Hiring them was an easy way for the bush regime to pay back
the evangelicals who supported him. And to think that in 1988 the young bush brothers referred to these groups as "The Cockroaches".

I am waiting for Pat R to quickly begin advocating Fred Thompson for next year. Wait and see.

Don't know what Crazy Pat thinks.

11. When they realize his enormous political value
they will come around. I think that Dobson is a fringe character compared to Pat and Jerry though I could be wrong.

Dobson's theory on homosexuality is glaringly stupid: to him male homosexuality is caused by the young boy bonding too closely with his mother, as opposed to his father at ages two to five. Of course this is Freudian based, but is easily debunked when you realize that if true, sons of soldiers overseas for long periods (WWII), and those who never return, or die early would all be gay. The man is an idiot. Why he hates Thompson, I do not know.

21. if they are as competent Secret Squirrels as they are lawyers, Al Qaida's won already
seriously, they probably think they'll be able to apprehend evildoers with the power of prayer. It's the answer for everything from balancing the books to a cure for cancer.

are being produced to warp small children's minds by these "Christian" "Universities".

19. I think that that is the main reason that she doesn't want to testify -
she will expose herself as unqualified for her position. She would be shown to be the ill-educated flat-earther that she is. All of these faux-college Christianist graduates have a deep-seated inferiority complex in regard to anything heathen or (shudder) secular. (Maybe this is an unfair observation, but these people are just the latest version of the same old Nazi jackboot and I am done being fair.)

17. Our school produces many. It's one of the better ones in Ohio.
Trust me, though, the vast majority of the education majors are nothing to worry about--they're there because that's the only place their parents will pay for or were suckered in by the church and now are just jumping through the hoops to get certified. I sure as hell didn't proselytize and never wanted to after my frosh year--I saw too much else that needed doing.

16. Don't believe that. People go there simply for the connections.
Hubby and I went to a Nazarene (conservative evangelical) college, and the vast majority of the students by graduation hated the place. Yeah, there were some Norman and Nancy Nazarenes (kids who'd drunk the Kool-Aid), but the college beat that out of most students by graduation. After that, most were quite mercenary about where they went for grad school. If someone wants to get further in the GOP, he knows the ways to get there, and Yale isn't as much of a good path as Regent or a school like it.

Trust me, a good-sized portion of the students are cynical, angry, and tired, if not most of the students. They're probably hanging onto their faith by their white knuckles, too. Just like Bush--they know the talk and use it to their advantage, but they don't actually go to church, or if they do, they make sure they're busy doing other things and don't listen to the sermon.

Sounds like it. Worked with this dunces.

Supposedly all Monica Goodling did was track down unpaid parking tickets before her big job at the WH. And she is ONE of the people who has a say that REAL lawyhers are to be canned?

:ROTFL:

Edit: spelling

20. I think "they" are creating zombie-neo-cons who will permeate every aspect of government...
...and destroy our democracy. I know that sounds tin-foil-hatish, but look what they are attempting to do with the federal prosecutors. They have taken over the media, and they are attempting to take over the judical branch--or make them irrelevant (those "activist" judges).

They are a scary lot.
