Where it reads "the leaders", I actually said the "Bush administration" as well as saying that the war was pointless. Yet, they decided to leave it out.

Four years ago, Trip Jones, a freshman majoring in political communication, said he supported the war, but said he feels misled by the government now because the government's evidence used to support going to war has mostly proved false.

"The leaders saw an easy target following 9/11," Jones said. "Because Iraq was an easy target, it seemed politically expedient for a war but not a wise decision."

Jones, along with a majority of students polled, said he would like to see the troops withdrawn from Iraq within a year, but he said keeping the troops safe should be key in a responsible exit strategy.
