2. You either have to believe that or willful criminal intent.
Incompetence becomes a pretty good fallback position if you are a Republican shrill...

It was about the new Rumsfeld book, they are trying to rewrite history so that Bush
and Rummie are not part of PNAC, it is not going to work, there is evidence including
Richard Clarke's that they began to plan to invade Iraq on the night of 9-11.

8. The evidence is well before 9/11.
All we need to do is get access to Cheney's Secret Energy Task Force meetings....Iraq was the target since before they stole the office. The criminals #1 business issue was divvying up the spoils...the assumption was that toppling Saddam would open the doors to a friendly take-over of the oil fields for the Friends of Dick, Don, and George.

9. well, there is a new defense, Bush & Rummie were incompetent
bumblers, the march to war in Iraq was no fumble, it was a deliberate invasion and occupation, but I agree with you that this administration is too much involved in
micro managing to not have elaborate point to point discussions. For example, look
at the entire campaign to purge 8 US attorneys, it was a coordinated effort that evolved
over months.

10. Democrats should've pushed incompetence after Tora Bora, but more sided with Bush
and shielded him on Tora Bora while Kerry was attacking him for this huge blunder and tried to get the media and the public to pay attention to it.

Pretty hard to get the public to hear you when bigname Democrats are siding with and protecting Bush at the time.
