4. Obama supports public financing, but says it won't happen if we do not make it a top priority

That is, we must demand public financing from our representatives in Washington.

Obama also believes there ought to be free tv time as part of the deal for the use of the broadcast spectrum, and when the other side complains that it is "welfare for politicians," we must speak out in support of public financing.

Obama indicated he will be co-sponsoring Dick Durbin's public financing bill, S.936, The Fair Elections Act.
