If Drudge has the siren up for a girlfriend of Kerry's just...
...what do you think he will do with this story if it looks like Dean is the Dem nominee? It agree it would not be right to do, but you all know the Rethugs will use this to their advantage. Just be prepared.

When Dr. Dean met Dr. Freud

<snip>So ask yourself why so little attention has been paid to Howard Dean's acknowledgement that he received mental-health counseling while governor of Vermont? (Maybe the first you've heard of it.)

Pre-Iowa, Dean was profiled for a Time cover story. He revealed that his emotions once made him "incapable of assisting a critically wounded 9-year-old, drive-by-shooting victim when he was a medical assistant." Said Dr. Dean, "What I learned from this, if you get sucked in and you get overwhelmed, you can't do a thing for the patient." snip

When asked by People if the counseling was hard, he said, "No, it actually was great. It was really helpful. I mean, I like that kind of stuff. I had done a lot of it - I learned a lot about it in medical school. I had done some during my psychiatry rotations, so it was actually a terrific experience. It wasn't easy. You've got to work and you've got to uncover things that matter to you. And of course we talked a lot about my father an all that other stuff." snip

The time frame of all this isn't entirely clear. In People, Dean makes reference to "the early eighties." He served in the Vermont House from 1982-'86, was elected lieutenant governor in 1986. But he has acknowledged having an anxiety attack when he got word in 1991 that he had become governor on the death of Richard Snelling.

"I... started hyperventilating and I thought, 'You better stop that or you won't be much good to anybody'... to suddenly get told that you have responsibility for 600,000 people - it provokes a little anxiety."

2. 90% of all doctors receive some form of counselling
This is baseless.

all doctors have to go to psychiatrists occasionally to flush things out. We all know this is the modus operandi of the RW, but if the American people can't see through this now - we all are in grave danger.

Thinking that Kerry was gonna easily glide into the Whitehouse was as ridiculous as saying Dean was the candidate the THugs wanted to run against.

9. The problem I have with your republican attacking
stance is that if it had been republicans who chopped Dean down I could understand it but his own party used a doubled bladed machete on him. You might say they learned well being Bushlite and gave him the republican McCain South Carolina treatment. No consolation but at least Cleland was chopped apart by enemies/for friendlier term opposition team and not supposedly his own tag team.

6. Dean has been under tons of scrutiny
and now Kerry is under it. It goes with the territory. Rather than come out with stuff on Dean just because Kerry is now under the scope is really dumb. I don't know if the Kerry story is true or not, if it is true after 8 years of Clinton Kerry should have known what to expect.
