THANK KUCINICH--Let's Get it Started in Here!
Yesterday Rep. Dennis Kucinich introduced articles of impeachment directed at Dick Cheney. The bill is H Res 333.

Thank him by donating any amount to his campaign using the numbers $3.33. Be it $3.33, 33.33 or 333.33, let it be all threes to let him know we support his brave action in Congress.

I encourage you to do this even if you're supporting a different candidate for president. Because to support him in this bold act, you'll be sending a message that Taking A Stand is a way to GET votes, not lose them. Whoever your candidate may be, you'll be telling them to get real--IMPEACH!

You can make a donation at Kucinich's campaign by clicking here.

Thank Dennis Kucinich today!

1. I honestly can't see a President Kucinich
mostly because the American public is too shallow. I support 100% what Dennis is doing -- hell, 1000%. And I guess I can afford $3.33 to let him know it.

7. Stranger things have happened, but you are probably right.
Presidents Wilson and Truman for example, were very unlikely candidates, or even Lincoln.

25. ANOTHER: Should Americans vote for impeachment by sending just $3.33
Should Americans vote for impeachment by sending just $3.33 to Kucinich in support of HR 333?

It might make a real impression on the situation if millions of people contributed .......

8. Then you have no understanding of the purpose of the impeachment process.
Edited on Wed Apr-25-07 12:11 PM by greyhound1966
This maladministration is exactly why the framers created the process, rampant abuse of office, blatant criminality, election fraud, endangering the nation's very existence.

What other circumstances could justify the impeachment of the executive, if not this?

12. I never said that impeachment wasn't justified.
I don't think it's a good idea. There is a difference.

15. If you, as you claim, understand it, then you also must understand it is
not optional. It is a matter of investigating and prosecuting criminal acts committed by our (s)elected officials.

30. what reasoning do you have for it being a bad idea.
if it is because it could end up putting someone into the presidents office that is even more corrupt and evil I can understand that.

11. Send a contribution to Cheney for his legal fees? Heck i don't know. Did you
write Dennis when he was asking for feedback? If not, you missed out.

6. Just donated to show my support.
He is hanging out there by himself and needs support. I imagine the Swift Boaters are working as we donate.

At least he has brought it to the light of day. Maybe it will start a discussion that will lead to impeachment.

(Has anyone noticed how they are nipping at their heels from all directions? I love it. This administration doesn't know who is going to get nipped next.

Let's get this party started, shall we?

I just called Jim McDermott's office. The staffer told me he's getting TONS of calls from all over the country urging support of Kucinich's amendment. They're still not sure in his office. I joined the begging.

JUST DO IT.

10. The White House Operator Didn't Even Hesitate...
...long enough to let me express who I wanted to talk with. She said she would transfer me to Kucinich's office immediately. His staff member was in a great mood and I got the feeling they were also getting a lot of calls.

16. Some have said that Kucinich was using this as a publicity
device for his campaign. Even to get people to contribute since he raised an anemic 340,000 this year.

Nah, he wouldn't do that.

18. That's right, he WOULDN'T. He has stood on principle against this Administration from the beginning.
If you brought up the Fox News thing I would be with you. As far as Impeachment, I think you are dead wrong.

23. Actually, the money DK has raised might not be much but it
is more than he had raised in the 1st quarter of '03. 287 thousand as compared to 340 thousand.
Yes, he is behind the leaders, as expected, but he is also exceeding his own pace from the '04 election.
