My condolences on your loss. Yes, it must be frightening to live in the world day, rife as it is with multiculturalism, various religions, differing sexual orientations and races.
I must apologize, but I realize now that I am part of your diminishing power, the slow and inexorably ebb of your supremacy over this God’s-given Earth. What, being non-white and the child of immigrants, I am one of those that has aided into the continued fractioning of the labor market and income pool that is rightfully yours. To add I am (gasp) a supporter of rights of homosexuals, bisexuals, trisexuals, etc. etc. I believe a woman has the right to choose (And, in any case, I’ve realized that in this regard, most smart will and can kick my ass once motivated if I were to oppose). I place science over religion, facts over faith, and principals over politics.

I’m so sorry to be ruining the party for you. I wonder what it feels like. Perhaps you identify with the displaced Native American, the endangered whales, 8-track cassettes and the horse-drawn buggy. But don’t worry, you won’t be forgotten. Like those other relics of yore, you shall likely be remembered in dusty history books and museum exhibits, safely behind glass.
