1. Gosh, I didn't know Seattle was that big.
He'd only be able to draw 1,700 here. That's the whole town, including babes in arms and people in retirement centers.

Seattle. In a metropolitan area over 3 million, I just don't think a crowd of 3,500 does much to illustrate it.

It's going to be a long, long campaign, and it has barely started.

His wife is no slouch either.

Clara Bow and "It" (1927)
The term was coined by English romance novelist and screenwriter Elinor Glyn to describe actress Clara Bow when she appeared with success in the Hollywood silent film It in 1927.

... the term has been extended beyond the world of film, referring to whoever in society, fashion or the performing arts was in vogue at the time.

Edwards has been given such undeserved criticism over his house and haircut (the price of which was inflated to compensate a working man for taking him away from his other customers) by the corporate press, I really don't think we should be setting up another of our own by using such show-biz hype to promote him.

Clara Bow's crown has rested uneasily on numerous heads. Let's not put it on Obama.
