"Hero's Health Care Card"

I had never heard this idea before, but in tonight's 'debate' (hahahahaha ... debate .... yeah ....) Bill Richardson proposed the idea. It came up in response to a soldier's mother asking why returned vets need to go only to VA facilities, even when they're terribly inconvenient to reach.

Richardson said that one part of his health care plan would give each returnee a for-life Hero's Health Care Card. The card would entitle him or her to health care for life from any provider he or she chooses.

I like this idea.
