Richardson wins my special-interest pander award
for the debate tonight.

First, the former Energy Secretary tells us that "no", he does not believe there is any price gouging by the oil companies, and that no executive action is called for on gas prices.

Second, the former UN Ambassador tells us that "Israel is less safe today" than at the start of Bush's term, and that the Israeli government needs additional "buttressing" by the U.S.

I can think of a few people who could use a good buttressing.

1. I don't know the Obama-Hillary-Edwards healthcare plans
And their pandering to the insurance industry was quite impressive.

7. He sat on the boards of not one but two major oil corporations
after his stint as Energy Secretary and that stinks to high heavens to me.

Of course he is not going to call the oil corps out on anything.

He is so corporate it isn't funny.

He is at the bottom of my list.
