6. Yea, but the other "newspaper photo" is a fake.
Snopes has the original which has Kerry but no Jane.

7. If you want something to do with this picture...
... list other famous people who could potentially be in the photograph.

For example,
Bill Maher to Jane Fonda's right.

11. photoshop contest?
yes we should have a DU photoshop contest (like the legendary Photoshop Phriday at somethingawful.com or the ones at fark.com) to see who we can stick next to John Kerry in the original photo.

14. I'd say the pudgy face and shady eyes...
... look like a young Karl Rove!

I might break out photoshop after band practice.

"Endless distractions are yours for the buying;
it's easy for you if you're not the one dying.
This life we are given must be good for something;
listen to me, I say War Changes Nothing.

Endless destruction, I'm sick of the waiting,
for humans to realize --
enough of the hating!

This moment in a time, a drop in the ocean,
listen to me, I say War Changes Nothing!"

13. i admire Jane Fonda
that lady had guts. she risked her career to stand up for her beliefs. but i wish she hadn't apologized for traveling to Hanoi. there was nothing wrong with that.

16. THE ONLY THING WRONG
was her pretending to shoot american planes down. yeah, she should stand up for her beliefs but to incourage violence is wrong! i like her but i didnt agree with that!

15. Good for him. That shows real patriotism.
Not this fake patriotism that we get so often from the right. Standing up for what you believe, even when it's not popular, shows true courage. John Kerry volunteered when he could have skipped off with the other frat boys. Who better to speak protest the war than someone who had fought and seen death in it.

I haven't been a great Kerry fan, but to try an attack him on the issue of patriotism shows real cowardice.

21. Sure would have been nice to see him at 2003 antiwar rallies!
The ONLY candidate who dared show was Dennis Kucinich!!!

Nope. Didn't see Kerry at any of those! Not even a sympathy FU note of "I feel your pain". Nope not even that.

Instead he enabled the war and now waffles, saying he was "mis-led". Well guess what- if you were misled even after Scott Ritter personally sent YOU the proof that there were no WMDs, you're not the kind of President I want.

Nope. Looking for a smarter man than that. Kucinich ALL the way!

How many dead?
How many wounded?
How many destroyed for life?

Thank you Senator Kerry. Thank you for all the dead and broken lives. You need a LOT more than a 30 year old picture of you sitting 3 rows behind Jane Fonda to convince anyone.

Oh, and did say we didn't warn you. Many of us personally called your office and yet you still enabled Bush.
