1. I doubt this.
I have a problem believing that Clinton is s solid favorite. Why? The ones who are solidly for her are the right-wing of the Republican party. They are anxiously waiting the day when they can smear her. If the Democrats proceed with the plan to nominate her they can get ready for 4 more years of being and doing nothing. Does anyone agree with me? Does anyone honestly believe that she would EVER be elected President??? Let's get real here. Please.

Only the majority of Democrats who responded to the poll. Let's get real here. Please.

8. Yeah because Koresh knows
....they've done no Hillary smearing at all for the last 15 solid years. It's all Karl Rove's macchiaveliian plot ya know - just PRETEND to go after every single possible shred of stupid innuendo against Hillary and run into brick wall after birck wall of nothing being there for a decade and a half of non-stop talk radio cable news and conservative blog attack doggery - just as a fake sucker setup mind - while really he's got all this damaging lock-solid dirt on her that he's kept absolutely silent about - not a whisper of a leak to anyone - for 15 years knowing that she'll eventually be the nominee and THEN he can let it all out and scuttle her bid for the White House and his plan to install a thrice-married cross dressing gun grabbing gay rights lover from NYC in the oval office will be complete! BWAHAHHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!! Foolish Democrats to not realize my evil plan!!!

2. So Tellurian,
I guess it's over.

No need for me to vote in the New Jersey primary, right?

My vote won't count.

5. If you want a democrat in the WH...you need to vote for Hillary..
she is the only one who will be on the survivor's list when all is said and done!

So, it would behoove you to place your vote with the strongest candidate, Sen Clinton!

GO HILLARY!

10. Yeah, so was Walter Mondale.
And we saw what happened to him.

I'll vote for her but I'll be the one in the voting booth crying over another forced selection.

18. But what kind of Dem?
A triangulating, DLC lead, stay the course Dem or a Dem who can actually bring together people and not keep us divided?

Apparently, you like the former over the latter.

Obama's numbers will only get worse.. He is not up to the task!

He'll learn much finishing out his term and spend more time planning a reelection campaign.

26. Is that supposed to be snarky?
If so, it is lacking the humorous component necessary, therefore it comes off as just mean. Let me see if I can help.

"Tellurian, you are going to keep posting polls even when HC fades to third, right?"

Or something like this:

"So Tellurian, do you have some netbot that constantly searches for polls in which HC is ahead or what?"

Maybe this:

"If Bloomberg runs a poll with HC leading, we know it can't be true."

Nah, that one's not so funny. But I think you get the idea. Snark is great. You get to make your point and have a little fun too!

4. STOP POSTING GOOD POLL NUMBERS ON CLINTON!
It is demoralizing to people who support other candidates. It forces them to leave the reality-based community and create all manner of conspiracy theories to discredit the polls. It makes the feel like they shouldn't vote at all.

But if ANOTHER candidate does well, by all means, post that. Those polls are gospel! :)

7. TPMCafe Election Central's take on this LA poll: Hillary Least Electable Dem, Obama Most Electable
Poll: Hillary Least Electable Dem, Obama Most Electable

A new Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg poll finds Hillary Clinton losing to the top three Republicans — Rudy Giuliani, John McCain and even the lesser-known Mitt Romney. The other top Democrats all do better. John Edwards tops Romney and McCain, while losing out to Giuliani. Barack Obama is the most electable in this poll, beating Giuliani 46%-41% and doing even better against McCain and Romney. Approval of Congress is at 27%, its lowest level in a decade, down from 36% in January when Democrats took power.

9. Has the TPM analysis factored in Obama's love for Republicans?
I wonder at times if he'll ask Luger to be his running mate.

Like Kerry did with McCain.

And the man is still widely respected in this country, despite everything.

25. Powell is not respected unless you believe media hype..
people haven't forgotten Powell gave his bonafides labeling Saddam Husein a threat to America, holding up a vial of yellow cake at the widely televised UN telenews, bolstering Bush's call for a preemptive strike on Iraq!

People aren't as stupid as you think they are. Where they are asking why Obama is colluding with Republicans, when they are the people we want to get rid of in the next election! Powell is complict in War Crimes!

30. Who cares!
Powell is as responsible for the push for war as Bush & Cheney...

He should be treated as the outcast that he is and held accountable for the loss of American and Iraqi lives.

I don't want the taint of Republicans on any part of the new President. Why would I?

Where does his 15 percent go if he doesn't run? I assume most of his supporters go to Clinton.

17. Methodology
Note: for more results and poll analysis, visit: http://www.latimes.com/timespoll

Methodology: The Los Angeles Times / Bloomberg Poll contacted 1,183 adults nationwide by telephone June 7 through 10, 2007. Included are 1,056 registered voters, 449 Democratic primary voters and 408 Republican primary voters. "Primary voters" include both registered party members and eligible others who plan to vote in the party primaries. The 2008 presidential election match-up questions were split among two random subgroups of 513 and 543 registered voters respectively. Telephone numbers were chosen randomly from a list of all exchanges in the nation, allowing listed and unlisted numbers to be contacted. Multiple attempts were made to contact each number. Adults were weighted slightly to conform with their respective census proportions by sex, ethnicity, age, education, and national region. The margin of sampling error for all adults and all registered voters is plus or minus 3 percentage points. For Democratic and Republican primary voters, it is plus or minus 5 percentage points. For each of the odd/even subgroups, the margin of error is plus or minus 4 percentage points. For certain other subgroups, the error margin may be somewhat higher. Poll results may also be affected by factors such as question wording and the order in which questions are presented.

I am on a crusade to include methodology in poll threads :P
