If I killed my neighbor next door
but did not kill my neighbor across the street could my defense include that since there was no underlying crime across the street I should be free to go? I'm trying to think like a conservative. It hurts.

1. As long as you perceived that there was a threat...
so you shot your neighbor before he could even consider shooting you, you're fine.

You're right, it does hurt, I think I'll go have a beer now...

4. If you lived in Texarkana, Ar and shot across the
street and killed somebody in Texas, that would be Justifiable Homicide, if they were your neighbor on the Ar. side you would have to go to the cotton patch at Grady for life.

5. Avoid legal quandaries
and join Blackwater for both guns and immunity and the cool uniform. or join the RNC and hire out a Blackwater guard using your team's kickbacks and slush funds. This is the age of community. Don't go it alone until you get anointed GOP Prez.
