Signing NAFTA, Telecommunications Act, and... |
|
...an increase in the "war on drugs".
These are 3 big ones that I am having a very rough time forgiving Bill Clinton over. I wish a reporter would ask Hillary where she stands on these.
How far away is the "apple from the tree"?

relating to policy issues...I suspect Hillary shares these same values. She is no left winger that is for sure.
Don't forget "Defense" of marriage Act
Don't ask, Don't tell
The almost daily bombing of Iraq within the "no fly" zone
GATT
WTO
"Welfare" Reform
So many things that left winger Bill Clinton left us with.

I wonder if we'd had a really adequate President these last eight years if so many people would be as "wistful" as they are about HIS Presidency?
My guess is, not so much. Clinton's legacy was polished by the W legacy, and will remain so until history books weigh in on it.

she's the front runnner, as his legacy. The reality of which is that America regressed enormously under the First Clinton Presidency. Noble liars both of them.

trade was Bill and Hillary's position but the GOP and Rubin wanted trade only - GOP later caved and allowed Bill his side agreements but those have proven ineffective when you have a Bush in the Whitehouse.

Whenever someone states Hillary would turn the economy around like Bill did, the howler monkeys screech "Hillary isn't Bill."
But there doesn't seem to be a problems implying Hillary would continue policies you don't care for.

Wal Mart made huge gains because of trade agreements signed by Cliton (where is Clinton from again?). The domination of Conservative talk radio was worsened because of the telecommunications act. Clinton is outgoing and connects with people, but some of this bills that were passed were really bad.
