1. but Reid has not been exactly a rocket scientist in response, has he?

He has been outwitted, outmaneuvered, out-pokered, and out-chessed at every turn. And like those pledges in animal house, he bends over and says, "Please sir, May I have another?"

2. No, he hasn't been very effective, even with a majority. He needs to

take notes from the rethugs on how they're doing this to counter their efforts, if that's possible.

They're constantly talking how "little" the Congress has done vs. how much they promised.

so what's to be expected when he's trying to herd his cats in the face of a pretty much unified opposion led by the President? Anybody objecting to this sorry record have some practical experience and advice on just how Reid should do his job?

Seems he did OK as an "obstructionist" in the last Congress, and now it's their turn.
