11. I think you've missed a news cycle or two

Rahm's measure will take the form of an amendment to H.R.2829, "the FY 2008 Financial Services and General Government Appropriations bill." The whole bill, along with its amendments, will probably be voted on Wednesday or Thursday in the Financial Services Subcommittee of the Appropriations Committee.

The Hill reports that Dick Durbin and Chuck Schumer are talking about Senate legislation parallel to Rahm's.
