1. I can not support him.
I think he is wrong and pig headed. We have one of those in the White House we don't need another.

2. As I said
the more I see and hear, the more suspicious of him I am. i really have to question his motives at this point.

4. Uhh! Maybe he is being sincere. Maybe he really does want to help change
politics for the good of common American people.

5. If that is the case,
then why did he not take one hard shot at Bush in that interivew? Nope, it was all about who to blame for his failures.

had to do was turn it around, just say I'm here to talk about Bush. It just goes back to blaming the media.

12. Well you're changing the subject now but
there's Kerry, Clark, Kucinich, Edwards and Sharpton. Did you want just other candidates or other prominent people as well?

Dean got it started. The others joined.

17. He is desperate, but Kerry did the same thing when he was down.
He laid vicious attacks on Dean as did Gephardt. Were they working for the GOP?

20. I cannot speak
to Mr. Gephardt's actions because they were largely overlooked by me but there has been no evidence tying Kerry to the Torricelli ads. Once again, looking for scapegoats instead of fighting the real enemy, GWB.

27. "Dean got it started. The others joined."
Check the record. Really. Kucinich started it, 2 years ago almost to the day: his passionate, bring-'em-to-their-feet 'Prayer' speech to the ADA in So Cal.

31. Yes, DK deserves big props on this. But you have to admit that Dean
stood up for Americans while the DLC boys were standing down to Bush.

25. "Name one person"
okay: Dennis Kucinich, beginning with his 'Prayer for America' speech to the ADA 2 years ago this month.

Howard got the press, but it was Dennis doing the heavy lifting. Let's face it, if we'd given credit where it was due from the beginning--and demanded that credit be given--then we might be looking at a much more hopeful future right now.

16. Foggy Mountain
The interviewer had an agenda and Dean didn't fall in line. Dean remains the best option for real change while Kerry is the best option for the status quo. Edwards - I csn't tell.

19. Excuse Dr Dean for talking about his campaign. Are you offended on behalf
of the media?

To insinuate that DEAN of all people hasn't said ENOUGH about BUSH is absurd.

He talks too much about balancing the budget and not enough on repealing NAFTA. tepid candidacy fueled by faux-populist rhetoric if you ask me.

And he's running a truly grassroots campaign fueled on the small donations and hard work of ordinary Americans.

33. "His style would not be well served in Washington" ??
D.C. has become a polluted swamp.

His "style" would serve both D.C. and the country well--unless, of course, one's belief is that Washington, rather than the people, should be calling the shots.

Perhaps democracy really is a thing of the past. It would seem so based on some of the posts I read in this forum.

people on this board. I think many of his supporters have learned by now, that this movement is a good deal more than a campaign for president but is actually about changing the template of American politics particularly as played in the Dem party. That work will take more than one election cycle.

He is imo a great and good man and will be around to keep the Democratic party honest for a long time to come.
