Dennis Kucinich's congressional resolution to impeach Vice President Dick Cheney, and Kucinich plans to gradually enter all their names into the Congressional Record, which officially records debates and proceedings in Congress.
"We're setting it up," Kucinich said Tuesday, adding that congressional rules require him to submit no more than five single-spaced pages of names at a time. The Democrats.Com website is still collecting names on its impeachment petition for Kucinich to place in the Congressional Record.
The impeachment resolution that Kucinich has introduced in the House of Representatives now has 14 co-sponsors, all Democrats.
"Vice President Cheney is a crook who has broken the law and needs to be brought to justice," said Rep. Lynn Woolsey of California, a co-sponsor of the impeachment resolution.
