If Bush lobbed nukes into every country ruled by an oppressive, evil regime

Would the press, repubs, and hawkish democrats crow about how Bush made us safer?

"How can you possibly say the world is not safer without those evil people!" sayeth the foreign policy "experts".

"If we people against nuclear warfare had their way, these evil men would still be in power!" sayeth the "strong on defense" Lieberman.

Would the majority of American's be stupid enough to buy into it?

How much more insane will Bush have to act before people stop thinking he's making America safer?

(Seeing as invading a country prematurely, with no post-war plan, and getting us engaged in a never ending urban war with no end, in the middle of a continent brimming with terrorist or people with a grudge against the US, while pissing off almost the entire world in the process, over a phantom threat isn't quite insane enough.)
