Poll question: How many of you already have your candidate's bumper sticker on your car?
I don't ... but that is going to change this week.

2. I have a Gore '08 sticker in my back window
If he's not a candidate, I don't know if I'll have another one on until after the primaries are over.

3. Assuming by your avatar that Joe B is your candidate...
...as much as he's maligned on DU and elsewhere, I REALLY like Biden! If he were to get the nom, I'd vote for him wthout reservation. He's a good man.

(I'm related to him by marriage, so I have a soft-spot for him;)).

6. Interesting ---- do tell!
We have a Biden group here at DU - stop by sometime!!

I think we are witnessing a strange phenomenom about Biden.
There are alot of people out there that say what you did - if he got the nom....
David Brooks last weekend said everywhere he went in Iowa he ran into Biden supporters, but they don't think he will win.
Numerous articles have been written questioning his poll numbers - people see him campaign, listen to his straight talk w/o pandering, watch him hold the audience in the palm of his hands... and yet he remains in single digits.
And he is #2 in endorsements in Iowa, only behind HRC.

I think that once people commit to him as a candidate - his poll numbers are going to explode.
I'm not giving up on him, that's for sure!

7. Joe's late wife is my 2nd cousin...
Neilia, Beau's mom, is my 2nd cousin. Joe's a great guy (although I was vehemently opposed to the bankruptcy bill, I can accept that the CC companies are, de facto, Joe's constituents and it was important for him to back them), and I know he was unfairly crucified in '88 for a college indiscretion.

He's got Lib creds up the wazoo!

9. That was so sad about Neilia
I saw him recently on C-Span, they were broadcasting a rally, and he was talking about her.
You can tell it still hurts him.

I agree about the bankruptcy bill. What bothers me the most is that it is
so out of character for him - he always fights for the little guy. It is the one time he
pandered and could be the one thing that keeps him out of the WH. The plagerism was a smear campaign
against him from someone that worked for Dukakis. The guy came out and publicly apologized afterwards.

Come visit us at the Biden group sometime:)

4. I don't do bumperstickers here in Ga. My car is not new, it's almost
nine years old, but it still LOOKS lke a brand new one, and only has 60,000 miles on it. These radical fools wouldn't hesitate for a minute to key the side or do some other damage, and no matter how much I support any candidate, I just won't risk the damage.

5. My "reelect Pres Gore 2008" has been on my car for 4 years.
I also have a "President Gore:Sounds good now, doesn't it?" just to poke a stick in the eye of all the idiots who voted for Bush and are now the poorer for it.

8. I have Gore stickers on both the front and rear bumpers
The front one just says "Gore" and it is from the 2000 election. The two on the back say "Don't blame me I voted for Gore" and "Gore for President/2008"

I've had the front one on since 2000 (yes, it is an older car). The "Don't blame me" has been on the car since 2002 and the Gore '08 went on the car in late Nov. 2004 (I ordered it the day after the election).
