Arcuri, who spoke to several reporters in a conference call Friday, said that while he and other congressional representatives were in Iraq, they met with the nation’s deputy prime minister, Salam al-Zuwba’i.

"I asked him a simple question: "What do I tell my constituents and friends in New York about why we should stay here?’"

Zuwba’i didn’t answer, Arcuri said, and when another representative posed the same question, it went unanswered again ...
