Lt. Gov. Anthony G. Brown, Maryland, Former Obama Classmate, Endorses Clinton

Lt. Gov. Anthony G. Brown (D) will announce his support today for the presidential candidacy of Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.), a senior aide confirmed last night.

Brown will follow the lead of Gov. Martin O'Malley (D), chairman of Clinton's Maryland campaign. There had been some speculation that Brown might hold off on an endorsement of Clinton. Brown and Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), a rival for the Democratic nomination, were law school classmates at Harvard University.
