Maybe that will help those who have yet to settle on a primary candidate.

Maybe some of us Democrats who were working to oppose Bush through the candidacies of others in 2002-2004-2006 missed all the great work YOUR PREFERRED candidate undertook throughout that timeframe.

Here's your chance to share with us those actions.

1. Kucinich opposed the war. That's enough for me

Oh yeah -- that Cheney impeachment thing too.

3. Actions mean the most - and Dennis did lead some actions like speaking to

antiwar crowds and by trying to hold WH accountable in some congressional hearings he held.

What they did IN the house and Senate matters as a course of action they took and led to OPPOSE BUSH.

7. Joe Biden showed real political savy . . .

His amendment to the original authorization for use of force against Iraq would have required George Bush to keep his word and exhaust all diplomatic options before taking the drastic step of invasion. The amendment did not pass, due to its lack of support from people like "Gung-Ho then, Oh no, now" Hillary Clinton.

8. Biden-Lugar was a better bill, but Bush would've violated that, too, and any bill

even written so Paul Wellstone would vote for it. They had no intention of using a Resolution as a guide to their decisions. The Downing Street Memos proved that beyond a shadow of a doubt.

11. BTW - Biden did a great job in the debates last night.

All of them have decided not to run and I don't like who we have to choose from (other than Kucinich and he's not in play)

IMO, Kucinich is second tier, probably around the Biden-Dodd area. Other than Gravel, I wouldn't call any candidate "not in play"

5. I love the optimism...but

DK, for all how much I admire the guy, isn't a real threat to take the White House. DK is 'too much' for the average voter out there what with the new season of Survivor starting and all.

6. If that were true, why do certain camps encourage DK be dropped from debates?

I don't remember any candidate in 2004 primary race doing anything like that.

9. I'm with Gore as of now - but that may have to change soon, and the scarcity

of specific testaments to candidates' leading an opposition to Bush WH over the years is not helpful.
