I'm sure he's been asked, but he has not said anything.

He phoned both candidates (or at least Edwards and Kerry, I don't know if Dennis or Al got a call). Also said that his campaign aides said the chances of him making an endorsement before the nominee was chosen was slim.

yes asked, no endorsement. The best decision he's made in this campaign. Far more class than certain other recent departees.
