1. Thank you for posting. If anyone didn't see it, it's worth every second.
A wonderful tribute to Molly, an amazing journalist and human being--the world is indeed a better place for her having walked among us.

I too wondered and am concerned about Maya--Molly's identical twin! May she be with us for a long time to come!

Blessings.

2. Bookmarking for tonight.
When I can watch it on large-screen.

Thanks for the post, niyad.

Molly and I were friends for over twenty years.

4. Probably my most cherished moment...
was in Dallas at this Greek place (Ziziki's?) on Knox Street (or maybe it was Henderson, being a non-driver I always screw up street names).

She was not doing well at all, and was sitting with her back to the room so no one could easily notice that she was drinking Martinis ("So what're couple'a drinks gonna do? Fucking kill me?").

As usual, she was talking and scribbling away on a pile of cocktail napkins.

So we go to leave and she stuffs those napkins in a ratty old handbag (never the Fashion Maven, not Our Molly). We were out on the sidewalk when her cab pulled up.

She reached out and stuffed a napkin in my shirt pocket and said, "Just in case..." and got in the cab.

I never saw her again.

Forgetting about the napkin, I stumbled down the street to a friend's house.

"What's that in your pocket?"

Pulled out that napkin.

"Never, Ever Give Up
Fight the Good Fight"

That napkin is in a frame above my desk. I am looking at it right now.
