5. I like Biden

I don't know everything about him, but he's really paid his dues, he's produced a long career in the Senate, he isn't the sexy candidate of the day, but seems to really have a good grasp of a diverse range of issues.

I'm often surprised when he's asked a question out of the blue that not only is he familiar with the issue, but he's obviously seriously considered it and given thought to possible solutions.

So he continues to impress me, and reaffirm my support of him.

Our enthusiasm comes from studying both the issues and the man. My initial gut instinct was "I like this guy", but my brain needed to back that up with facts. The more I research him, the better he looks. So the brain has caught up with the gut, even gone beyond actually.
