Photos from Obama's visit in Madison, 10.15.07 (Bandwidth warning)
It was very packed with a full house of 4,000 people who were willing to pay ($30-adults $15-students) on a Monday morning to see Barack Obama speak.

I was particularly impressed with how well he projects and kept his strong message about his experience mixed with humor and some great stories. He had complete control of the crowd and it is evident in video, which I am preparing to post on YouTube at the moment.

Three people fainted during various parts of the speech and Barack handled it well. It's hard to be in the middle of a speech when you see someone in the front of the audience faint and have to call for assistance and paramedics and then continue right back where you left off. Barack did that three times!

Here are some of the many photos I took, which show the long line to get in, various parts of the speech and when he greeted fans after the speech:

3. you can really tell he`s really is something special
when you get close to him. i stood a couple of feet from him during his run for the senate and i realized that he offers hope for the future of this country. if barak obama is good enough for the greatest democratic politician ever to serve illinois and one of the best senators to serve the people of the united states ,then he`s good enough for america....

7. Great photos!
Did you get to shake his hands?

Three people fainted? Was it warm in there or was it because of Obama? :)

8. I got to shake Barack's hand
He smiled with a big grin and said "Thanks!"

The dude is a friggin' rock star. It was funny watching a lot of women acting like they were shaking hands with one of the Beatles or something. He is quite amazing in person to see. I highly recommend it.
