Edited on Mon Oct-15-07 07:02 PM by Truth Hurts A Lot
My stomach turns whenever I see that man on TV. He's so fake and dumb. He tries to be funny but his humor just falls flat. It's the same feeling I get when I see Bush. I don't quite experience the same feeling of revulsion when I see the other GOP candidates (on edit: I'm equally repulsed by Romney).

I could NEVER accept a Giuliani presidency... It would be another miserable 8 years of feeling unrepresented. Please please PLEASE do not let that man win!!

6. Rudy isn't saying he's a compassionate conservative....
so that gives him points with me.
Of course with Bush the media did everything they could to cover up his Texas record.

7. No
I don't like him but Romney is the one I have a seriously visceral dislike of. That guy really creeps me out. Same policies as Bush only more mean spirited and vicious. He's like a younger version of Cheney. :scared:

9. In a lot of ways, I feel even more.....
He's an authoritarian prick. And as an African American male who lived in New York during Rudy's tenure, I got to see Rudy's authoritarianism nightly on the news, as his police department terrorized communities of color.

11. Sort of. . .
On a personal level, absolutely. Rudy makes me as nauseas as Bush. No question.

That said, when you look at what Bush has done, and all of the death, destruction and heartache that he's wrought, it's hard to put anyone else on the same level.

When I asked him how he felt about a Bloomberg run he said, "As long as it takes votes away from Giuliani."

14. Not really
But I feel a lot more disgusted with him than I did with Bush in 1998.

So that must be saying something.

17. Not yet ...
... but I am confident that given enough time, Giuliani will exceed my wildest expectations in the revulsion category - and you can't say he ain't trying.

That whole gang of nine are repulsive! Ken Doll Romney is the creepiest by far.
They all are typically, mean and spiteful Repubs who feel entitled to power and money!:grr:

20. Well, as someone who had Rudy as her mayor before moving to New Jersey
My disgust for him comes quite easily.

Do you remember that he wanted to postpone the next mayoral election and remain in office after 9/11? And did you know that he was going to sit on 9/11 funds donated to the city until MARCH? Why, to skim the interest it would have earned?

21. Yes, even more despotic nature than Bush
What I recall was how he got his panties in a twist over some art works in a show at the Brooklyn Museum. Aside from first amendment issues, and censorship issues, Rudy tried to "punish" the museum by defunding it (or evicting it from its premises, or removing members of the board of trustees)--and got slapped down so hard by a judge, and again in appeals court, you'd think he'd stop. But no, in reaction to another art show he proposed a "decency panel."

This guy scares me.
