Article: TX Dean supporters, very inspiring.

SNIP...."In fact, they're still selling bumper stickers and T-shirts at Dean headquarters in Austin.

"People were attracted to Howard Dean because he had a message, he was saying something. Howard Dean may not be saying it now, we have to say it! It's about us, about us as individual Democrats across Texas," Glen Maxey, Dean for Texas state organizer, said.

Dean's name remains on the ballot for the Texas Primary March 9, and many supporters say he still has their vote.

"It's gonna be a way for us to still affect the platform and carry forth the issues that he, and we, are interested in, and that doesn't have to stop," Vincent said.

Dean, and those in his camp KXAN talked to, say they will eventually get behind the Democratic nominee for president, but not until they're sure their message is getting through....."

3. Can you imagine Dean supporters country wide
becoming Dean impersonators and carrying on the message? Then we could re-draft Dean!! LOL That would be awesome.

5. It was just a dream.
For a brief moment they felt something different they hadn't felt for a long time in this country. By the time the convention rolls around or maybe sooner, people will realize what that spark was. It was Dean.

7. Or better yet, they'll realize that it was more than Dean ...
And the grassroots power will keep building even if he's not visible as the figurehead. They can try to stigmatize in individual, but not a movement.

I think there's nothing more the Dr. (and I) would rather see than that. A large contingent of delegates at the convention will legitimize what Dean said during the campaign.

6. Does Texas still has the weird primary + caucus thing?
That could help Dean's showing in delegates

8. I'm one of them!!!
We have a VERY dedicated core group here. I went on two Texas Rangers trips, and it would have been three, except that my own city was the destination for one!!! (Rangers from Dallas, Austin, and Waco came here during our municipal electoins to promote Dean at polling places).

I will NOT take my bumper sticker off or my sign down, and I will still wear my buttons to every Democratic event I attend. I'm still ABB and will work for whoever the nom is, but I will continue to support Dean as well.

9. That is the way our group here is.
I have been amazed at the people who were not supporting Dean now asking more about him. Since yesterday, we had two neighbors ask why our sign was still up.....gave an opportunity to talk about it.

One guy in the doctor's office and one in the store said why are you wearing the buttons?

Most of these actually were impressed with Dean's debates and his speech yesterday, and they might even consider him in the primary. AND....they have noticed how the media talks about him. That is really surprising and good. It made them mad.

Proud of you guys for getting your word out!
Peace.

10. I get that, also
I have my cubicle strewn with Dean paraphenalia and no one said anything until this week. Everyone has started asking about him, asking me what I think about him ending his campaign, etc. and even borrowed some of my printed copies of "Common Sense for a New Century"

To me it only means that Dean's message is coninuing to resonate with the public.
