Kucinich won't commit to vote for the nominee
He is running as a Democrat.

He is participating in all the Democratic debates.

He is getting television face time to express his views, because he is a Democrat.

But, he won't commit to supporting the nominee?

I don't get it.

1. He's destroying everyone on the stage tonight.
He's going to be the nominee.

This debate is no contest. He's kicking ass.

25. Even drunk he can still kick all their asses
Edwards still has that deer in headlights look to him after Kucinich grilled him.

I suppose that's "normal" for Edwards.

"He had 10 minutes of comments I agree with means he is going to be the nominee".

Not quite.

19. because Blitzer terminated his chance at a crucial question
US War policy's basic strategy of supporting anti Democratic elements, in the name of fighting terrorism. That how we treated the Tailban in Afghanistan during the Soviet Invasion. Schell destroys Bush's policies in Todays New York Times as Pakistan the latest country to blow up into our faces after years of support. That is the chance Blitzer denied Kucinich. As to Kucinich saying any Democrat who supports war with Iran; that candidate is not worthy of being the nominee. Thank you Dennis Kucinich for trying to whip the Democrats into place. Polls show the American people disenchanted with the current Congress. Kucinich needs remind those on stage of that disappointment.

7. If Kucinich said that, then he is a jerk, and should change parties
Edited on Thu Nov-15-07 09:17 PM by still_one
The truth is the Supreme Court is at stake, and as upset as anyone with the actions of some Democrats, but there is no way I won't vote for the Democratic candidate

If he runs as a third party candidate, I will have much harsher words to say about him, though if this representation of what he said is accurate, that is pretty close to my tipping point, since he has the ability to sway enough votes to tip the election, by persuading people not to even vote if they don't fit his mold

There is a major difference between who any of the Democratic candidates will nominate for the Supreme Court verses the republicans, and if he cannot see that, then he will never have my respect

9. Kucinich is my guy, and I understand thepoint about the war that he
was making, but I do wish he had voiced support for any dem candidate. But hey, maybe he and Gore will team up as a third party? Hopefully Kucinich will get the nod, and that will settle it.

his point. Should the eventual Democratic nominee end up endorsing concepts such as pre-emption, use of war without first using normal diplomatic procedures, then that Democratic nominee is a disaster. Would you support LIebermann. I would not. There is little difference between the Democratic nominee and Bush, as far as I am concerned. That is all he is saying. And that is why he is running, to prevent a Democratic nominee to be such a disaster. When Blitzer cut off Kucinich during such a critical question when all else had their chance; my comment when Blitzer denied Kucinich access to such a vital question. My anger went like, Mother******,to Blitzer!. . Kucinich should have just answered the question and not just said hello.

18. Wrong My Friend
I don't think so, I just looked at a poll (some one posted it here on DU, I don't have the link) showing a hypothetical matchup of Giuliani and Clinton that showed Paul and Nader (as third party candidates) getting 7% and 4% respectively. It would just show that Dennis isn't going to knee jerk support the party's nominee (the party can not just put up any warm body). Not sure how many would follow him, but it would show me something about him.

the nominee supports a policy of pre-emptive war, which is clearly illegal. Makes sense to me and I really don't understand why you guys have a problem with him saying it.

32. And Hillary has a long history of claiming
we should compromise and work with people who are complete nut jobs.

I'm sick of her talking as if Bipartisanship and compromise is a cure all. Fact of the matter is that the Democrats on issues such as the war haven't taken a "my way or the highway" attitude and it's been ineffective.

Unlike everyone else on that stage DK has a record he can back up when he talks. He doesn't have to waffle on the war or the Patriot Act. Candidates like Biden, Edwards and Clinton have for years.

33. 50% of the country are republicans
her husband understood you have to work with them to accomplish anything. So does Hillary.

As much as people here would love a left-wing dictatorship, that's not how things get done.

36. The Clintons are the reason why
The only thing her husband accomplisched was giving fuel to the right and allowing them to have their way.

Again, they offer to work with crazy people.

Even since the Dems started doing that they have lost every single election. They stopped doing that in 06 and it WON.

Left wing dictactor ship....pfffft.

Hillary Clinton is the exact reason why we are closer to a right wing dicatarorship than we have ever been. Same with Bill.

20. He won't for the same reasons Edwards won't
Edwards said last week he wouldn't either. and some were aghast .. but it's obvious to me why
neither will make such a "well since we all know I won't win... " question about what they'll do
AFTER the primaries. They are both serious candidates who don't plan on losing. That makes a
lot of sense to me, that they wouldn't play into that question leading down Loser Lane.
