Meet
Ed O'Reilly (Desperate-Massachusetts).
Ed is desperately trying to jump start a challenge against John Kerry. In the article linked above Ed said:
"I don't want to dwell too much on the past, but he keeps going back 40 years and bringing it up, bringing it up," said O'Reilly. "He keeps talking about it."
Yet the first thing Ed did was accuse Kerry of not countering Bush on the Iraq war in 2004 (past).
From the blog Chimes at Midnight:
Wednesday, November 21, 2007
T. Boone Pickens' and his "Swift Boat" menagerie of lies.
Pickens is exactly the sort of ass-hole who needs a good public smack-down, couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
Oh and Kerry's alleged primary opponent Ed O'Reilly had this say:
"It goes to his credibility," said Ed O'Reilly, a Gloucester lawyer mounting a challenge to Kerry in the Democratic primary. "It needs to be cleared up."
Geez Ed, would it kill you to brand the whole thing as a pack of lies? I mean, would it?
Credibility? It's not known if Ed has a shred of it.
In 2004, Ed donated $2000 to the Kerry campaign. Now Ed is trying to capitalize on the SBVT smear of John Kerry. That's desperate! But in addition to not being a Vet and jumping on the cowards' bandwagon to besmirch John Kerry's record as a war hero, Ed's
got his own problems.
Ed could do the honorable thing and denounce
the SBVT as the liars they are. Since Chicken Pickens
said anyone, not the first one (being
John Kerry) to disprove any of the liars' lies, Ed could earn a $1 million, which he could then contribute to a worthy charity and earn back a little of the credibility he lost with his dishonorable campaign.
