Democrats 2008: Hillary at 42%, Obama 25%December 03, 2007
(Angus Reid Global Monitor) - Hillary Rodham Clinton is holding on to the top spot in the race for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination in the United States, according to a poll by YouGov/Polimetrix released by The Economist. 42 per cent of respondents would support the New York senator in a 2008 primary.
Illinois senator Barack Obama is second with 25 per cent, followed by former North Carolina senator John Edwards with 14 per cent. Support is lower for Delaware senator Joe Biden, New Mexico governor Bill Richardson, and former Alaska senator Mike Gravel.
