Thom Hartman: " The corporate media is scared stiff of John Edwards

because he has been taking on the big boys all his life and he is an outsider. Thats why they won't give him any coverage."

Not his exact words but very close.

1. If there's anyone on the radio I'd listen to in this regard
it's Thom.

2. Look at this point there is not other explanation-How many Repubs regulary get mentioned?
5? 6? but only Obama and Hillary get mentioned? On a side note even though he is really running to be Sec. of State Biden gets almost no coverage either.

They are scared to DEATH of Edwards which should tell all the disbelievers that he is for real and that he does believe in what he says.

7. A Man FOR THE PEOPLE!! And If Thom Hartmann Thinks This Way
I think this is significant. Hartmann is a very informed, intelligent man. I'm always amazed at the depth of his information. He is pretty liberal, but my kind of guy!!

18. Exactly, and Thom mentions it often. He has taken numerous call in
polls, and Edwards always wins. Edwards is the true progressive among progressives.

23. Funny Isn't It?? He Also Seems To Come Out On Top At Most Debates &
he leads here at Act Blue and most polls here show him either first or second all the time. I will admit that "our" polls aren't exactly GE polls, but hey if he runs well here, why wouldn't he do well elsewhere??

9. Edwards is too too poor in judgements
on serious matters like invading other countries.
that is one huge big mistake - I can't trust him not to make another whopper like that no matter how good he sounds in other areas.

13. the current admin is making great decisions...
for their corporate pals profit lines. they are raking in taxpayers cash faster than the presses can print it and augering it into fat pockets. it's Us and Them, when you look at it like that, this admin has been very successful.

8. The Edwards campaign would be smart to use that segment in an ad
My post is not nearly as eloquent as Thom Hartman was. He was responding to a lady about why the media would not cover Edwards.

11. Air America probably wouldn't be comfortable about one of their
hosts officially endorsing a candidate in the primaries/caucuses, despite the fact that they obviously will for the general election. My guess is their fear of alienating listeners who favor other candidates...

12. I think any of our candidates can win...
I have doubts about Hillary, but that is just my opinion. I've tried to give her a chance, maybe I am wrong. But she has been off-base on a few things lately.

(And you too Quixote.)

This is one of the reasons I support Edwards, it's because of the people that I respect, that respect him.

16. I get the sense Edwards is in this fight for the right reasons
I think he thinks he has the skills and understanding of how power works to shake things up and make a real impact. You can see the passion in eye and hear it in his voice. He can't be that good of an actor.
