3. Oh come on people make a decision!
I went with the gay Republicans. After all while it's certainly true that the Republicans aren't out to help any of the other subgroups, and may have scorn and antipathy towards most of them in varying degrees, they aren't trying overtly and directly to legislate lesser rights for any of the others per se. You could make an argument that gerrymandering and voter roll purging do this to blacks, and with some merit, but at least that's not the very stated purpose and intent of those efforts. With gays the Republicans actually ADMIT to trying to make them second class citizens - you don't need to understand or interpret their motivation at all.

4. None of them; it's their right to support whoever party they feel
is best for their interest. I know our party is the best for America, but not everyone has to feel that way.

5. None of the above.
That distinction goes to those that would cast a vote for the incumbents that continue to enable the chimp in chief. Pelosi, Reid, Clinton, et al.

6. So, you're suggesting it would be "less dumb" to vote for republicans
for those seats? Really?

7. I don't think they're dumb.
I think they're victims of very effective propaganda.
Never blame the victim.

8. Are we talking Log Cabin gay, or Larry Craig "I'm not gay" gay?
I had to reply to this question because five minutes ago I did an uncivil, impolite thing. Mea Culpa. I was getting up to leave my table in a restaurant and noticed a guy I had known a long time ago from my gym. Not a friend, but someone who I used to talk current events with if we both happened to be in the locker room. I think he was a president of our state's Log Cabin gay GOP chapter. His hair was a different color, but I knew it was him. And I got up and turned my back to put my coat on, so I could pretend I hadn't seen him. The only thing I could think of to say was, "you *still* a Republican?" And I didn't want to be confrontational, a walking downer stumbling into the poor sap's day, so I just walked on by, like I'd never recognized him at all.
