Hillary's Campaign: Sinister Yes, But Also Incompetent?

Hmm. Yesterday we had two volunteers dropped from the Hillary campaign for forwarding the "Obama's secretly a Muslim" e-mail.

Today, Drudge gives us the headline, "REVEALED: Hillary Deputy Campaign Manager E-Mails For Dirt On Obama... "

But the article itself, which reveals an e-mail from a deputy campaign manager seeking information on 'TH EWORK BARACK DID ON THE SOUTH SIDE WITH COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION S , ETC " seems less sinister than strikingly incompetent. Why is this guy sending around e-mails — a paper trail, no less! — when he or somebody on the campaign should have done this kind of legwork months ago?

Or, did Team Hillary look through Obama's early years for dirt, come up empty, and are now desperate to look again to see if they missed anything?

Either way, this is not the sort of message sent out by a confident campaign...

9. Not the point - this seemed very unfocused and

likely to either turn up unverifiable garbage or to backfire when seen. The OP makes a good point. Why didn't the HRC campaign just get some of their South Side of Chicago trusted supporters to speak to friends and relatives in the neighborhood? Fishing by email just seems dumb.

As the date nears, things will get nastier and nastier by both campaigns. They always do.
